Sprout website

I was the lead digital producer on the Universal Kids website redesign and launch, although I focused on Product and UX, not content production.

Note: Sprout was rebranded to Universal Kids in 2017.

Some of the things I explored:

  • • Making the website usable for both parents and children.
  • • Gaining a better understanding of how children consume content (e.g. by the characters they love and connect with, rather than by content type)
  • • Refining the journey to various content (games, video clips, full episodes, show pages) to match a child's preferences.
  • • Creating logical and consistent interfaces so that children can focus on play rather than relearning a new interface everytime.
  • • Protecting children's privacy and ensuring COPPA compliance.
